I bet you read this article because you were seduced by the “lose weight fast” title. I know you want to lose weight fast, and so thousands of advertisers out there. And all that they have to do is to shout those magic words loud enough and here you are!
Let me explain to you the truth about losing weight fast. I will not say is impossible, on contrary.
But first think a moment about this fact: by the latest statistics 50 millions people or so will go this year dieting or following some kind of weight loss program. Only 5% of them will really lose weight for good. The rest…you’ll meet them on line still searching for THE method to lose weight fast.
Why? From thousands and hundreds of thousands of losing weight methods available, they are all scams? Is all a big conspiracy and we all are doomed to be fat forever? Not quite. The answer is more earthly and logical than that.
But then again, why is so hard to lose weight?
Because almost nobody really care WHY we are fat in the first place.
“You are fat because you eat too much” was working once, so all kind of “reduce portion methods” or “how to eat less” bibles made it to front page and selt like crazy until they faded away. Is not that. Then it got smarter, “you are fat because you eat too much fat and calories” and there you are: all the counting calories madness started, all the low-fat low-calories diets who make millions out there. 0% fat products, or even better, 1.2% fat! Wonderful, right?
But we still got fatter. And i mean it, we got like 20% fatter every year, in an ever increasing manner.
Now we are in the age of “healthy” dieting. Healthy pizza, and healthy “diet” coke, and even healthy chocolate. Do you start to see a pattern here? I’m really curious to see what will be the next trend.
We know that 1+1=2. We are are fat, we should eat less=we lose weight. Simple. No need for an expensive expert opinion to understand that, but somehow is not working. We keep getting another result.
Then we go asking the experts, and what they do? They take that 1 and divide it in little pieces, and come with the following : 0.2+0.2+0.3+0.3+1 must be =2. It looks much more complicated, and smart, so it should work. We all are satisfied, now we go it right and we will happily lose weight.
Well, is still not working, because is the same thing, just looks different. And this is more or less the story behind every diet that was not working for you.
To lose weight fast is possible, and quite easy i would say, but only when you are ready to consider the “unseen” factors in this equation.
